Starting Something New...

Hello. I'm Jenn and I am 1/2 of J. Michel Farms. My husband Jeff and I began our own small farming operation in 1997. We have grown and learned A LOT over the years and I thought this could be a good place to some of the things that we found that worked (or didn't) for us so that others can learn from our experiences. We have had quite a bit of trial and error over the years which has made life an adventure for sure. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is our first website and blog. So please bear with me as I navigate this new means of communication. I am still figuring all of this out. I hope to have a weekly blog post about farm happenings and also to be able to share some recipes and methods for preserving food that have worked for me.
